The Husqvarna 350BT and 150BT are some of the best leaf blowers you can get on the market. That’s because they’re packing the manufacturer’s proprietary technology that make them fuel efficient and easy to start, among other things.
At first, you’d probably be hard pressed to tell the difference between them. That’s no surprise since the Husqvarna 350BT is the successor to the 150BT, after all. The gist is the 350BT is for commercial use, while the 150BT is more for homeowners. However, that doesn’t give the whole picture. We compare the two to highlight how they differ from each other. That way, you’d know which leaf blower will suit you best.

Performance
The Husqvarna 350BT has a higher air flow, but the 150BT has a higher air speed.

The most obvious difference between the Husqvarna 350BT and 150BT is their performance. This is often overlooked since the two share similar guts under the hood.
The Husqvarna 350BT’s pipe has a larger diameter. That means it can blow more air out but at a lower speed. Meanwhile, the 150BT’s is smaller, allowing it to reach a higher speed but at a lower volume. In short, you can cover more ground faster with the 350BT because it has a higher air flow. On the other hand, you can better handle stubborn or heavy debris, such as wet leaves, with the 150BT because of its more concentrated power.
Power and Engine
There is practically no difference between the leaf blowers when it comes to their engine specifications.

Both the Husqvarna 350BT and 150BT have the same engine size and fuel capacity and consumption rate. The only distinction here is their output power, but even then, it isn’t much. The 350BT comes in at 2.1 HP, while the 150BT is at 2.15 HP. In fact, their size and weight are even the same.
In the same vein, the two also feature the X-Torq engine system. According to Husqvarna, it improves fuel efficiency by 20 percent while reducing emission levels by up to 60 percent.
Ease of Use
The Husqvarna 350BT is easier on the arms.

The 350BT and 150BT come with things like Husqvarna’s proprietary LowVib technology and cruise control to reduce fatigue. However, the 350BT is more comfortable to use, building on the 150BT with a new ergonomic harness and handle.
Verdict
The Husqvarna 150BT’s more concentrated power will just come in handy a lot of times.
Since the Husqvarna 350BT is the successor to the 150BT, no one’s to blame for thinking it’s the winner here. But in this case, newer doesn’t necessarily mean better. The new comfort features are a nice touch, but the higher air speed is too hard to pass up. It’s more flexible in a sense because it can deal with difficult-to-remove debris. Sure, it’ll take longer to clear wide, spacious areas, but it can still get the job done.
