Not much can be said about the difference in the design of the Weber E-5770 and E-5775 as you’ll get the same grill with similar space and features with either purchase. With porcelain enamel finish, the dome-shaped lid of the Weber Master-Touch is designed to trap and distribute heat evenly. They are further built to withstand extreme heat and avoid corrosion so you can enjoy grilling on your Weber for years.

Something users love about the Weber E-5770 and E-5775 is their One-Touch cleaning system that makes removing the ash from the bowl less daunting. The ash goes straight into the stainless steel ash catcher that you can easily detach from the grill and empty. They also come with two all-weather wheels for better mobility.

Looking under the hood, the Weber Master-Touch GBS Premium boasts a gourmet barbecue system (which is what GBS stands for) and stainless steel cooking grates. If you want the restaurant-quality cross-hatched char marks on your steaks, you’ll appreciate the GBS cast iron sear grate that comes with the Weber E775. The round grate insert can be removed and replaced with other compatible GBS inserts.

Grilling Features

The Weber E-5770 and E-5775 let you barbecue, smoke, and roast and are equipped with dampers for convenient heat control

For indirect grilling, their char baskets (left) can be positioned farther apart from each otherΒ

The Weber Master-Touch GBS Premium E-5770 and E-5775 make charcoal grilling easy and less messy. They come with a porcelain-enameled charcoal ring and briquettes basket. The char basket can be pushed to the sides of the grill so you can use your Weber for indirect grilling and slow roasting. If you get the E-5775, you can also create professional-looking sear marks on your steaks through its detachable GBS cast-iron sear grate insert. In addition to sear grates, the other GBS inserts that you can use with the Master-Touch are Weber’s pizza stone, griddle, wok, and rotisserie.

Another well-liked feature of the Weber Master-Touch is it triples as a smoker. The E-5770 and E-5775 include a stainless steel diffuser plate that you can sit on top of the charcoal ring and under the cooking grates. This lets you cook on low heat, making the Master-Touch a solid choice if you want to smoke meat. The rust-resistant aluminum damper (see right photo above) also lets you conveniently control the airflow and heat within the grill. To make sure you’re grilling at the temperature you need, you can use the onboard thermometer on the lid or purchase an iGrill so you can monitor and control the temperature using your phone.

Warranty & Availability

The Weber Master-Touch E-5770 and E-5775 include up to 10 years of warranty for specific parts
