Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a mid level device launched in 2012, provisioned with a huge 10.1-inches multi touch capacitive screen, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a Quad-Core processor clocking at 1.4 GHz. We will get a better idea about this device's characteristics when we get into specific details.

Samsung decided to equip this tablet using a Samsung Exynos 4 (4412) chip, backed up by a quite powerful Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1400 MHz and a huge 2 GB of RAM memory. A good advantage of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is the 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and an SD card slot, allowing the user to install a couple hundred apps without any trouble.

Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 21.06 oz device. Though the Note 10.1 is only 10.31 inches long, it still manages to hold a 10.1 inches screen. This tablet has a beautiful design, with a thickness of just 0.35".

Samsung equipped this tablet with a interesting 10.1" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , providing this tablet with an average image quality. This screen uses Super PLS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This tablet has wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless router), 4G (HSPA+) connectivity, that is not so fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks or 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The Note 10.1 is only equipped with a 5 MP back facing camera. It is also able to film HD 1280x720 videos. Additionally, the camera features some nice features: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

The Note 10.1 also features many interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Navigation, Infrared Transmitter and Near Field Communication (NFC), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Note 10.1 has a 7000 mAh amazing Li-Ion non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this tablet with an incredible battery duration. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to get older, though with this big battery you will probably discard this tablet before that happens.

This tablet costs $ 385, not a good offer for comparing with other similar tablets.
