Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a mid-end tablet launched back in the year 2012, packed with a quite powerful 1.4 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a big size 10.1 inches multi touch capacitive screen and a 5 MP back facing camera.

Samsung decided to build this tablet using a quite powerful Quad-Core processing unit running at 1400 MHz, packed into a Samsung Exynos 4 (4412) chip and a great 2 GB of RAM. A key advantage of the Note 10.1 is its large 64 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to install tons of applications, games, pictures and videos without worrying about filling the tablet.

Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 21.16 ounces tablet. Though this tablet is only 10.31" long, it manages to pack a 10.1 inches screen. Being just 0.35 inches thick, the Note 10.1 is very thin and stilized.

This tablet has a interesting 10.1" display with a 800 x 1280 resolution, giving this device a mid level image quality. This display uses Super PLS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The Note 10.1 has only a 5 megapixels back side camera. It also films videos in HD 1280x720. In addition, the camera counts with some good features: flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.

This tablet packs a big capacity 7000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery that provides the Note 10.1 an incredibly long battery life. An issue to consider is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1's battery is non-replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to lose its charge, even though with such a huge battery size you will probably buy a new device before that happens.

This tablet offers wi-fi connectivity (but it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot), HSPA+ 4G internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE networks or the fastest 3G connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet uses a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

This tablet also includes many interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Navigation, Infrared Port and NFC (Near Field Communication), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Note 10.1 might not be a good choice considering it is sold for 435 dollars, and many similar tablets are being sold for less than that. The Note 10.1 is probably very appropiate for you no matter if you want a work tablet, are looking for a gaming device or want a device to majorly use social networks.
