Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2

Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is a solid device launched in 2011, with a quite big 8.2" multi touch display, a good performance 1200 megahertz Dual-Core CPU, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

This device is just 0.35 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest tablets in the market. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 only has 8.5" long and 5.47" wide, but it is still able to fit a a 8.2 inches screen. This tablet doesn't feel very lightweight for a tablet this size, weighting 13.62 ounces.

Motorola ships the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 with a TI OMAP4430 chip, which holds a great performance 1200 MHz Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB of RAM memory. Collaborating with graphic intensive apps and games, it also has a PowerVR SGX540 GPU running at 304 megahertz. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 counts with a 32 GB huge internal memory and while it doesn't include an SD card slot, it is still enough to install tons of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without even thinking about filling it.

This device has a good level 800 x 1280 8.2-inches display, making everything look quite colorful and brightful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also films videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps. The camera also counts with auto-focus and flash.

This tablet comes with a 3960 mAh large Li-Ion non-removable battery, enough to provide the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 with a great battery life. An issue to consider is that the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's battery is not replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to get older, whereas with such a huge battery size you will probably replace this tablet before that becomes a real problem.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 provides wifi connection (and it can be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G high speed connection type or 3G data connection, using EV-DO A technologies. This tablet doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM services and it can connect to CDMA networks.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also includes many interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS Localization, Infrared Transmitter and NFC, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

The Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 is being sold for about 300 dollars, quite the same as other similar devices. No matter if you need a work tablet, want this tablet mainly for internet broswing and social networks or want a gaming tablet, this tablet is a great choice for you.
