Google Nexus 10 Review

32 GB     See other variants reviews Score: 6.48/10

Google Nexus 10 is a mid level device launched many years ago, packing a fast 1700 MHz Dual-Core processor, an enormous 10.1-inches capacitive touch-screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.9 mega-pixels front side camera. Let's take a closer sight of what this tablet has to offer.

This device ships with a Samsung Exynos 5 chip, which holds a fast 1.7 GHz Dual-Core processing unit and a large 2 GB of RAM. A good point of this device is the 32 GB big internal storage memory and whereas it doesn't include an external SD slot, it is still enough to install hundreds of applications and even the largest games available nowadays without worrying about how much storage capacity is left.

This tablet is a bit heavy for a device this size, with a weight of 21.27 oz. Being just 0.35" thick, this device is very thin and practical. This tablet is only 10.39 inches long, but it manages to hold a 10.1 inches display.

This tablet is equipped with a good level 1600 x 2560 10.1" display, providing this device with a nice graphical experience. Its display uses True RGB Real Stripe PLS capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

The Google Nexus 10 doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM services.

This tablet features two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.9 mega-pixels front facing camera. It also captures Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera has a couple of nice features: auto-focus, flash and geo tagging.

This tablet also comes with some interesting features like Bluetooth (3.0), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Near Field Communication (NFC), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

The Google Nexus 10 comes with a huge 9000 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery providing the Google Nexus 10 an incredibly long battery life. An issue to take into account is that the Google Nexus 10's battery isn't replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts losing capacity, even though with its 9000 mAh you will probably replace this tablet before it becomes a real problem.

The Google Nexus 10 is being sold for about $ 179, which is similar to other same level tablets. This device is probably a good choice no matter if you want a social device, want a gamer tablet or need it for work.
