Google Nexus 10 is a mid level Android tablet launched in October 2012, packing a huge 10.1" display, a Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1.7 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.9 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

Apparently Google forgot about optimizing the weight in this 21.27 oz device. Whereas the Google Nexus 10 only has 10.39" long and 6.99 inches wide, it's still able to fit a a 10.1" screen. This device is very thin and practical, being just 0.35" thick.

Google equipped this device with a good looking 10.1 inches display, and a 1600 x 2560 resolution, which makes all images and videos look very nice. This display uses True RGB Real Stripe PLS capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This tablet comes with a fast 1700 megahertz Dual-Core processor, packed into the Samsung Exynos 5 system chip and a huge 2 GB RAM memory. A nice advantage of the Google Nexus 10 is its 16 GB quite large internal storage memory and while it doesn't have an external memory card slot, it is enough to store hundreds of apps and games, although it might not be enough if you are planning to install a couple of the largest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.

The Google Nexus 10 doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections.

The Google Nexus 10 features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. It is also able to film Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also includes some useful characteristics: flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.

The Google Nexus 10 uses a large 9000 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery that provides this tablet a great battery duration. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery isn't removable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, although with this big battery you will probably replace this tablet before that becomes a real problem.

This tablet also comes with some interesting features like Bluetooth, GPS Localization and NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.

This device is a decently made tablet that is sold for about 140 dollars, quite the same as other similar devices. No matter if you will use it as a social tablet, want a gaming device or want a device for work, you will probably be very satisfied with this tablet.
