Asus Transformer Prime is a mid-to-low level tablet launched back in the year 2011, including a fast 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor, a huge 10.1-inches multi-touch display and an 8 mega-pixels back camera. But it's time to get into some more details.

Asus decided to equip this device with a quite powerful Quad-Core CPU clocking at 1300 megahertz, packed into a NVIDIA Tegra 3 system chip and 1 GB RAM. A good advantage of this device is its big 32 GB internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to store lots of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without worrying about how much storage capacity is left.

The Asus Transformer Prime is quite slim and practical, whereas it's not close to being one of the thinnest tablets currently available, with a thickness of 0.41". While this tablet is only 10.35 inches long and 7.12" wide, it is able to fit a a 10.1" display. Asus appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 20.67 oz tablet.

This device only has an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera. It can also shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, this tablet's camera also has auto-focus and flash.

Asus equipped the Asus Transformer Prime with a nice 10.1" display, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, providing this tablet with a good graphical experience. Its display uses Super IPS+ LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This tablet doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM services.

This tablet also includes some interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS (Global Positioning System) and NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

This device is not a good choice considering it is sold for 349 dollars, while other similar tablets cost much less than that.
