Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a solid tablet launched some years ago, in 2014, including a pretty big 8-inches multi-touch display, a great performance Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 2.3 gigahertz, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front camera. We will get a better understanding of this tablet's specifications when we get into specific details.

This tablet is just 8.39" long, but it still manages to hold a 8 inches screen. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is incredibly thin and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.29 inches. Asus did a very nice job making this tablet weight only 10.55 oz.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 is equipped with a interesting 8-inches screen with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, which makes everything look great. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

Asus decided to build this tablet with a good performance Quad-Core CPU ticking at 2.3 GHz, packed into the Intel Atom Z3580 system chip with a big 2 GB of RAM memory. A nice point of this tablet is its big 16 GB internal storage and an SD card slot, allowing the user to store a couple hundred applications and games without worrying about space.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 1.2 MP front side camera. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 can also shoot videos in HD 1280x720. The camera also has auto-focus and geo tagging.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features wi-fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot), 4G LTE high performance data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, that is a slower 4G type or 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This tablet uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 also comes with some interesting features like Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth tablets, computers and accessories), GPS Navigation and Near Field Communication (NFC), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

Asus offers this tablet for only $ 130, which is quite a low price for a device this level. If you are looking for a social device, this tablet is probably a good choice .
