Apple iPad 2 is a bit outdated iOS tablet launched some years ago, in 2011, counting with a 1 GHz Dual-Core processing unit, a really big 9.7" multi-touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 0.7 MP back camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. Let's take a better look at what this tablet has to offer.

This device is powered by a fast 1 GHz Dual-Core processor, packed into an Apple A5 system chip and 512 MB RAM. Handling graphic rendering, it also has a PowerVR SGX543 MP2 graphic processing unit working at 200 megahertz. This tablet has a 64 GB impressive internal storage memory and although it doesn't come with an external memory slot, it it is more than enough to store lots of apps, games, songs, photos and videos without having to worry about how much memory is left.

This device is sold in two different color options, black and white. It appears that Apple forgot about weight optimization in this 21.62 oz tablet. The Apple iPad 2 is quite a compact device, taking into account that it presents a 9.7 inches display and it has just 9.5 inches long. Being just 0.34" thick, this tablet is incredibly slim and good-looking.

This tablet features two cameras, a 0.7 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It is capable of shooting videos up to 1280x720 (HD) at 30 fps.

Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This device has Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a hotspot) or the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Apple iPad 2 uses a Micro SIM card to use GSM services.

The Apple iPad 2 also includes some interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), GPS and NFC (Near Field Communication), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Apple iPad 2 has a great 6944 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it at all. An issue to take into consideration is that this tablet's battery isn't removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to last shorter, although with this big battery you will probably discard this tablet before it happens.

This tablet is very expensive considering it is priced $ 505, while other similar tablets cost much less than that. The Apple iPad 2 sells with Dock Connector to USB Cable and 10W USB Power Adapter.
