Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD is a mid-end Android tablet launched back in 2013, which features a pretty big 7" screen, an extremely powerful Dual-Core processor running at 1.6 GHz, a 2 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

Apparently Alcatel forgot about optimizing the weight in this 12.52 oz tablet. The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD just has 7.52" long, but it's still able to fit a a 7" display. This tablet is just 0.36 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest tablets podium.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD includes a good level 800 x 1280 7" display, which makes all pictures and movies look vivid. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

Alcatel ships this device with an exceptional 1.6 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit, packed into a Rockchip RK3066 chip with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit low comparing with the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD's awesome CPU. Graphic rendering usually consume lots of CPU processing time, so it also has an ARM Mali-400 MP4 GPU ticking at 266 megahertz to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. This device comes with an 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and an external SD slot, allowing you to install a couple hundred apps without any problem.

This device doesn't use a sim card, because it isn't a GSM device.

The Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD features two cameras, a 2 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera.

This tablet also comes with Bluetooth (2.0), and Accelerometer.

This tablet counts with a great 3300 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that provides the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD an amazing battery duration. An issue to take into consideration is that the Alcatel OneTouch Tab 7 HD's battery is non-replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to live shorter, although having 3300 mAh you will probably buy a new tablet before that happens.

Alcatel sells this tablet for $ 249, which is not so cheap for comparing with other similar tablets.
