Acer Iconia Tab A700 is a decently made tablet launched in January 2012, with a big size 10.1" multi-touch screen, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit.

Acer appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 23.46 oz tablet. This tablet is available in 2 different color options, black and gray. The Acer Iconia Tab A700's thickness , 0.43", is a bit far from current standards, but it still feels quite right in the hand. The Acer Iconia Tab A700 is a compact device, taking into account that it packs a 10.1 inches screen and it only has 10.2" long and 6.9" wide.

Acer decided to build this device with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip, including a powerful 1.3 gigahertz Quad-Core processor with 1 GB RAM. An amazing feature of the Acer Iconia Tab A700 is the 32 GB huge internal memory and a slot for an external memory card, allowing you to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games available nowadays without having to worry about how much memory is left.

This tablet includes a nice 10.1-inches screen with a 1200 x 1920 resolution, making everything look very good.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 only features a 5 megapixels back facing camera.

This device uses a big capacity 9800 mAh non-replaceable battery that provides this tablet a marvelous battery duration. An issue to consider is that the Acer Iconia Tab A700's battery isn't removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to lose capacity, whereas with such a huge battery size you will probably buy a new tablet before it becomes a real problem.

This tablet doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM networks.

This tablet also includes some interesting features like Bluetooth (for communication with other bluetooth tablets, computers and accessories), GPS (Global Positioning System) and NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your device close to another NFC device or tag), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This device costs around 79 dollars, which is similar to other similar tablets.
