Acer Iconia Tablet with 16GB Memory 8
Acer Iconia A1-810 7.9

Acer Iconia A1 is a mid-to-low level Android tablet launched in June 2013, equipped with a great performance 1.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU, a quite big 7.9 inches multi touch display, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera.

This tablet is just 8.22" long, but it is able to fit a a 7.9 inches screen. This tablet's thickness , 0.44", is quite far from current standards, but it still feels quite comfortable in the user's hand. Acer didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 14.39 oz device. Acer is offering this tablet in two color options: black and white.

This device comes with a MediaTek MT8125 system chip, backed up by a fast 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit and 1 GB of RAM memory. Handling graphic intensive games and apps, it also has a 384 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU. This device has a good 16 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot, which allows the user to store a couple hundred apps and games without any trouble.

This tablet has two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. The Acer Iconia A1 also films 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. This camera also features geo tagging and auto-focus.

Acer designed this device with an average 7.9" display, and a resolution of 768 x 1024 , making everything look quite nice. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The Acer Iconia A1 has a big capacity 4960 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that provides the Acer Iconia A1 a marvelous battery life. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, whereas with so much capacity you will probably buy a new tablet before that becomes a real problem.

This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM connections.

The Acer Iconia A1 also comes with some interesting features like Bluetooth, GPS Navigation and NFC (Near Field Communication), and some sensors likeAccelerometer and Gyroscope.

This tablet is a decent tablet and it is priced about 80 dollars, similar to other similar tablets.
