The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 6.74, which is a bit better than the Google Nexus 10's 6.4 general score. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has older 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 10 has Android 5.1 version. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's design is newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Google Nexus 10.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a little better processing power than Google Nexus 10, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores and an additional graphics co-processor. The Google Nexus 10 has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a bigger screen, a much better pixels density and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px.

The Google Nexus 10 has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video definition and a lot better resolution back facing camera.
