The Acer ICONIA TAB A501 has an overall score of 5.57, which is slightly better than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's 5.35 overall score. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Acer ICONIA TAB A501 has a more recent 3.2 version while Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5. Despite being the best tablet in this review, Acer ICONIA TAB A501 is an extremely thicker and notably heavier tablet than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0.

The Acer ICONIA TAB A501 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has 512 MB more RAM memory and more 1000 MHz CPU cores. Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 counts with a much better looking screen than Acer ICONIA TAB A501, because although it has a way worse 800 x 480px resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a much better count of pixels per inch in the display.

Acer ICONIA TAB A501 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
