Sony Xperia T Review & Specs

Sony Xperia T is a solid Android device launched back in the year 2012, having a 4.5-inches multi-touch screen, a good performance 1500 MHz Dual-Core processor, and two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and a 1.3 megapixels front side camera. We will get a better idea about this phone’s specifications when we get into specific details.

Sony decided to build this cellphone with a fast Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1500 megahertz, included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8260A system chip and 1 GB RAM memory. Helping with graphic intensive apps, it also counts with a 400 megahertz Adreno 225 graphic processing unit. A good advantage of this phone is its 16 GB quite big internal memory and an SD memory slot, which allows you to install hundreds of games and apps without any trouble.

This phone just has 5.09 inches long, but it’s still able to fit a a 4.5″ display. This phone has an amazing design, with a thickness of just 0.37″. Apparently Sony forgot about weight optimization in this 4.9 oz device. The Sony Xperia T is offerred in three different color options, black, white and gray.

This phone includes a spectacular 4.5″ screen with a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, which makes everything look amazing. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 13 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. The Sony Xperia T also shoots videos in Full HD 1920×1080. In addition, the camera counts with some useful characteristics like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

This phone counts with a 1850 mAh mid capacity replaceable battery, which isn’t very promising for a thirsty device like this. According to Sony, the Sony Xperia T has an estimated 450 hours stand by time and a 7 hours talk time.

This cellphone provides wi-fi connection (which can be provided to other devices acting as a router), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, which is not as fast as LTE networks or the fastest 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device works with a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Sony Xperia T also includes some interesting features like Bluetooth (3.1), GPS Navigation and NFC (Near Field Communication), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

No matter whether you are looking for a work cellphone, want a device to mostly use social networks or will use it to play lots of games, you will definitely love this phone. When buying this cellphone you also receive Stereo headset, and user documentation, synchronisation and file transfer, charger and micro USB cable for charging.
