Samsung Rugby 4 (SM-B780A) Review & Specs

Samsung Rugby 4 is a low end phone, coming with a little 2.4-inches screen and a 3 mega-pixels back side camera. That’s all? Not at all, it’s just the starting point of this in-depth review.

Samsung didn’t put much effort to reduce weight in this 5.22 ounces phone, much heavier than other similar phones. This cellphone is a little bit thick for today’s standards, with a thickness of 0.85″. This device isn’t a very compact cellphone, taking into consideration it is 4.25 inches long and 2.17″ wide, but it only packs a 2.4 inches screen.

This cellphone is equipped with a good level 320 x 240 (QVGA) 2.4″ screen, which makes everything look quite good.

The Samsung Rugby 4 uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This cellphone is equipped with only a 3 megapixels back-facing camera. It can also shoot videos in QVGA 320×240 at 15 frames per second.

This phone also includes some interesting features like Bluetooth (3.0), GPS and Near Field Communication (NFC), and Compass.

This cellphone comes with a 1300 mAh medium sized Li-Ion battery, which is quite low for a phone like this. Samsung informs a stand by time of 550 hs and a talk time of 14 hs for this phone.
