Samsung Galaxy Young 2 Review & Specs

Samsung Galaxy Young 2 is a not so powerful Android phone, including a 3 mega-pixels back facing camera, a 3.5 inches display and a good processing unit clocking at 1 GHz.

Samsung equipped this cellphone with a good processor speeding at 1 GHz with 512 MB RAM. This phone comes with a moderate 4 GB internal storage memory, which is enough for most users having that this phone also has a slot for an SD memory card .

This cellphone is very slim and comfortable, although it’s not so thin as many other cellphones currently available, with a thickness of 0.46 inches. Samsung sells this phone in black and white. Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 3.81 oz cellphone.

This cellphone only has a 3 mega-pixels back facing camera. It also captures videos in 640×480 (VGA) at 24 frames per second. Additionally, this phone’s camera also includes geo tagging.

Samsung equipped this cellphone with a interesting 3.5 inches screen, and a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes all images and movies look quite good. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This cellphone has a good 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery, and even though it may seem a little small, it’s enough to provide the Young 2 with an awesome battery life.

This phone features WiFi capability (although it can’t be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) internet connection, that is not so fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks or the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone comes with 2 Micro SIM cards so it is able to work with 2 different phone numbers or carriers in the same phone.

This cellphone also includes many interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Localization, NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag) and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
