Samsung Galaxy S5 is a high-end Android phone released in June 2014, provisioned with a great Quad-Core processor clocking at 2.5 GHz, a good size 5.1-inches multi touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 16 mega-pixels back camera and a 2.1 MP front side camera.

This cellphone is a very compact cellphone, taking into account that it presents a 5.1 inches display and it only has 5.59″ long and 2.85″ wide. This cellphone is incredibly slim and practical, with a thickness of just 0.32 inches. Samsung offers the Samsung Galaxy S5 in a nice range of color options: black, blue, white and gold. This cellphone is much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone this size. About its materials, this cellphone is mainly manufactured with Plastic.

Samsung decided to build this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip, backed up by a high-tech Quad-Core processor clocking at 2.5 gigahertz and a great 2 GB of RAM. Handling graphic rendering, the S5 also counts with a 500 megahertz Adreno 420 GPU. A nice point of the S5 is its 16 GB quite large internal memory and an SD card slot, allowing the user to store a couple hundred games and apps without any trouble.

Samsung designed this cellphone with an absolutely amazing 5.1-inches screen, and a 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD / 2K) resolution, giving this device a perfect graphical experience. Its screen uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

The S5 features two cameras, a 16 megapixels back facing camera and a 2.1 mega-pixels front side camera. this cellphone’s back facing camera has an aperture of 2.2 so it can capture clear pictures even in low lighting environments. It also films 4K 3840×2160 videos at 30 frames per second, and 1280×720 HD slow motion videos up to 120 fps (4 times slower than regular videos). This cellphone also counts with lots of interesting features: auto-focus, flash, fast burst mode, digital image stabilization, face detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The S5 has wifi capability (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed connectivity and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a bit slower 4G variation or fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a Micro SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a 2800 mAh large Li-Ion removable battery providing this cellphone a quite long battery duration.

The S5 also comes with many interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), Fingerprint Reader, GPS Navigation, Infrared Port and Near Field Communication (NFC), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer and Compass.
