Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Review & Specs

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is a pretty good cellphone, counting with a very powerful Quad-Core processor speeding at 1200 megahertz, a big 5-inches display, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 5 MP front camera.

Samsung made an excellent optimization job making the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime as lightweight as 5.5 oz. Samsung only offers this cellphone in white color. This device is a very compact cellphone, given that it presents a 5 inches display and it is only 5.7″ long and 2.84″ wide. This device has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.34″.

Samsung equipped the Grand Prime with a good level 5-inches screen, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , providing this cellphone with a detailed graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

Samsung decided to design this phone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip, backed up by a very fast Quad-Core processor ticking at 1200 MHz and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit poor considering the Grand Prime’s powerful processor. Graphic intensive applications generally consume a lot of processing time, so it also has a 450 megahertz Adreno 306 GPU to help the CPU with those tasks. A nice advantage of the Grand Prime is its quite big 8 GB internal memory and an SD card slot, allowing you to store hundreds of applications and games without any problem.

The Grand Prime is equipped with two cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 5 MP front camera. It is also able to capture Full HD 1920×1080 videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, the camera features a couple of good characteristics: flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This phone offers Wi-Fi connection (and it can provide it to other devices acting as a router or modem) or 3G fast connection type, using HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.

This phone also comes with many interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Localization, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Radio, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone packs a 2600 mAh big Li-Ion replaceable battery providing this phone a good battery life.

No matter whether you are looking for a phone to mainly use social networks, want this cellphone for work or want a gaming phone, you will probably be very happy with this device.
