The eufy RoboVac 11S is slimmer and has a larger bin capacity than the Roomba 675

The Roomba 675 (left) is 3.54″ thick while the eufy RoboVac 11s is only 2.85″ thick

At a glance, the Roomba 675 has a more elegant looking finish and better build than the eufy RoboVac 11S. However, the functional design of eufy trumps the iRobot’s. The Roomba 675 is more than an inch thicker than the eufy 11S. Since the 11S is slimmer (the ‘S’ stands for ‘Slim’), it can get under most couches, TV stands, and other furniture that has lower clearance than average. We know these hard-to-reach areas can get really dusty, so the small size difference actually has a huge advantage.

Another win for the eufy 11S is its larger bin capacity despite its slimmer body. If you have a bigger floor size, you won’t have to empty your bin as often. The RoboVac 11S can hold up to 600mL while the Roomba 675 can only hold up to 300 mL. Because the Roomba’s is smaller, you might have to empty the bin after vacuuming just one room.

Mapping and Navigation

Both are equipped with intelligent navigation, but the Roomba 675 can be set-up with a Virtual Wall Barrier

Both the Roomba 675 and eufy RoboVac 11S are equipped with intelligent sensors that can avoid bumping into furniture and falling down the stairs. They also do a great job of climbing and rolling over medium-pile carpets. Despite these though, it is still best practice to keep your floors clear of cables, clothes, and debris. Also, something that messes up many robot vacuums’ navigation is dark flooring and carpets. These two are no exception to that.

As they are entry-level robot vacuums, they do not come with mapping capabilities. You’ll probably have a laugh watching them wander about your house seemingly aimlessly, but they get the job done eventually. If you want a more methodical cleaning with your Roomba 675, you can purchase a compatible Virtual Wall Barrier and set that up. This option is not available for the eufy 11S.

Cleaning Performance

The eufy RoboVac 11S has stronger suction power than the Roomba 675

Even at a lower price tag, the Roomba 675 and eufy RoboVac 11S do an incredible job of cleaning your house and pulling in dust and debris. However, the latter can do a better job as it boasts a suction power of 1300Pa, thus allowing it to suck in pet hair and bigger debris.

Both robot vacuums are equipped with dirt sensors that can detect how much dirt is on the surface and adjust navigation accordingly. It is worth noting though that the RoboVac 11S features eufy’s Intelligent BoostIQ which automatically “boosts” its suction power when necessary (such as when changing from hardwood floor to carpet).

Another feature you (and your pet) will appreciate about the eufy is it is very quiet. In fact, it is quieter than the Roomba 675 despite having a much stronger suction power. At 55 db, it is one of the quietest vacuum cleaners available today. You can schedule your vacuuming at night and it won’t bother your neighbors.

Docking and Charging

The eufy RoboVac 11S has a longer runtime and charge time

The RoboVac 11S can run for up to 100 mins, 10 mins more than the Roomba’s runtime

At full battery, the Roomba 675 can run up to 90 mins while the RoboVac 11S up to 100 minutes in standard suction mode. If your house is mostly carpets though, the eufy 11S will use its power boost and its runtime gets reduced to up to 60 minutes.

Both the Roomba 675 and eufy 11S will sense when they are low on battery and automatically dock to recharge. They both do well at making it back to their dock in time, but there have also been rare instances where they get stuck and you have to dock them manually.

As for charging time, the Roomba 675 only needs up to 120 minutes while the eufy 11S, since it has stronger suction power, needs up to 300 minutes before it can start a full cycle.

Control Options

The Roomba 675 provides more wireless connectivity options

Voice control and its mobile app can be used to schedule the Roomba 675 while the eufy RoboVac 11S uses a remote control

The Roomba 675 can be controlled using the iRobot HOME App. No matter where you are, you can ask the Roomba to clean your house (be sure to take note of its dustbin capacity so it’s not spilling dust when it’s supposed to be cleaning). The Roomba 675 can further record your cleaning history and schedule daily cleaning.

Those with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant can also connect the Roomba to these devices for a completely hands-free cleaning experience.

Meanwhile, the eufy 11S can only be controlled using its remote control. Its remote control is user-friendly and responsive so users have not reported problems. However, unlike with the Roomba 675, you need to be in your house to start using your eufy 11S.

The eufy RoboVac 11S offers more value for your money

With its stronger suction power, larger bin capacity, longer runtime, and intelligent navigation, the eufy RoboVac 11S wins by a mile. It is both more affordable and quieter than the Roomba 675. Since the eufy can only be controlled through its remote, the iRobot Roomba 675 is a good option if you want to connect your vacuum to your smart home device or you need the capability of controlling your vacuum wherever you are.
