There are three side plates with different button layouts for the Razer Naga Pro, while Corsair Scimitar Pro only has one, but it is adjustable.

The Razer Naga Pro has a unique design where the side panel is swappable. It comes with three side plates with different button layouts. There’s a 12 button layout, a 6 button layout and a 2 button layout. With this design, the Razer Naga Pro is a versatile mouse that is suitable for shooters, MMOs, MOBAs and more.

On the other hand, the Corsair Scimitar Pro has a pretty standard MMO/MOBA mouse design that features 12 extra buttons at the side. While it doesn’t have a swappable side panel, its side panel is adjustable. You can slide it forwards or backwards to get the most comfortable fit for your hand. As such, the mouse is suitable for all hand sizes.

Both gaming mice are for right-handed users. They are also on the heavier side, with the Razer Naga Pro weighing 117g and the Corsair Scimitar Pro at 147g. That said, the two are still comfortable to use. They have a rounded back that makes it easier to reach all the buttons. In order to take advantage of every feature that these mice have to offer, you’ll need to download their respective software. For the Razer Naga Pro, it’s the Razer Synapse app, while for the Corsair Scimitar Pro, you need to download the Corsair iCUE software. Within the software, you can adjust the dpi settings, control the RGB lighting effects, program keys and create presets that can be saved onto the onboard memory of both mice.

One advantage of the Corsair iCUE is that it works on both Windows and MacOS, while the Razer Synapse software only works on Windows.

Performance

The Razer Naga Pro is better than the Corsair Scimitar Pro for gaming as well as for general usage.

The Razer Naga Pro is equipped with the Razer Focus+ sensor. It has a dpi range of 100 – 20000 and it can be adjusted in 50-step increments. Meanwhile, the Corsair Scimitar Pro sports the PixArt PMW3367 sensor which has a dpi range of 100 – 16000. You can adjust its sensitivity in 1-step increments, giving you precise control over it.

For gaming, the two mice are excellent. Even though the Razer Naga Pro has a higher max dpi, nobody really ever goes that high while gaming, so its advantage in this area is negligible. What makes the Razer Naga Pro better than the Corsair Scimitar Pro for gaming is its incredibly low click latency. It’s also lighter, so it’s much more comfortable to use during long gaming sessions.

For general usage, the Razer Naga Pro is also better since it’s wireless. It won’t get caught on things on your desk and drag them around. It’s also quieter than the Corsair Scimitar Pro, so it won’t annoy and bother other people in the room. These two mice are excellent but they target different people. The more expensive Razer Naga Pro is clearly for people that don’t mind spending more money to get the best gaming experience.
