Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989 16GB (White) Android Smartphone for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989 16GB (White) Android Smartphone for T-Mobile

Samsung Galaxy S II T-Mobile is a solid Android phone released in 2011, with a medium sized 4.5" multi touch screen, a fast 1500 MHz Dual-Core processor, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. Let's take a deeper view of what this cellphone offers to us.

Samsung decided to build this phone using a fast Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1.5 GHz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 APQ8060 system chip with 1 GB of RAM memory. Graphic calculations generally uses lots of processing time, so it uses an extra Adreno 220 graphics processing unit ticking at 266 MHz to improve overall performance. A nice feature of this phone is its quite large 16 GB internal storage memory and an external SD slot, enough to store hundreds of games and applications without running out of space.

The Samsung Galaxy S II T-Mobile is much lighter than what you expect from a phone this size. This cellphone is quite a compact phone, considering it has a 4.5 inches screen and it's just 5.11 inches long. This cellphone is slim and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.37".

This phone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It also films videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps. In addition, the camera counts with flash and auto-focus.

Samsung equipped this phone with a good looking 4.5-inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , which makes everything look great. Its display uses Super AMOLED Plus capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This cellphone counts with Wi-Fi capability (which can be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, that is not as fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks or fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone also includes some interesting features like Bluetooth (3.0), GPS Localization and NFC (Near Field Communication), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone comes with a medium capacity 1850 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which isn't very promising for a consuming phone like this. According to Samsung, this cellphone has an estimated talk time of 7 hours and a stand by time of 167 hs.

Samsung offers this cellphone for just 110 dollars, which is incredibly cheap for this kind of phone. If you want a phone to mostly use social networks, this device is probably a good choice for you.
