LG Spectrum is a good Android cellphone launched in 2012, equipped with a 4.5" multi-touch screen, a good Dual-Core processing unit clocking at 1500 megahertz, and 2 cameras, an 8 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front camera. That's all? Not at all, it's only the beginning of this in-depth review.

The LG Spectrum comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 chip, including a powerful 1.5 GHz Dual-Core CPU and 1 GB RAM. The LG Spectrum has a 4 GB internal storage, a common amount that should be adequate for the average user considering that the LG Spectrum also has an external SD slot to store songs, photographs and videos and even some apps and games that allow external memory installation.

The LG Spectrum is slim, but it's not as thin as many other phones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.42". This cellphone feels much lighter than what you expect from a phone like this.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front side camera. It also captures videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). This cellphone also includes flash.

LG packed this phone with an absolutely amazing 4.5 inches screen, and a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, giving this cellphone a very detailed image quality. This screen uses LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone has a medium 1830 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep this phone running for several hours, but you may need to charge it after some heavy use. LG says this phone has a 8.3 hours talk time and a 348 hours stand by time.

The LG Spectrum features WiFi connectivity (which can be provided to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE fast connectivity or 3G internet connection, over EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't have a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM networks and it works in CDMA carriers.

The LG Spectrum also comes with some interesting features like Bluetooth, GPS Navigation and NFC (Near Field Communication), and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This cellphone is a great choice considering it only costs $ 115, and other similar phones are sold for much more than that. The LG Spectrum is a good choice for you if you will use it as a social device.
