HTC One max is a fascinating Android cellphone launched back in the year 2013, equipped with a 1.7 GHz Quad-Core processing unit, an enormous 5.9-inches multi-touch display, and two cameras, a 4 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2.1 megapixels front facing camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's just the beginning of this extreme review.

This phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T system chip, backed up by a powerful 1.7 gigahertz Quad-Core processor with a great 2 GB RAM memory. Graphic rendering usually eats lots of processing time, so this cellphone counts with a 400 megahertz Adreno 320 GPU to help with that calculations. A great advantage of this cellphone is its huge 32 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards, more than enough to store tons of apps, games, songs, photos and videos without even thinking about filling it.

This phone's thickness , 0.41 inches, is a bit far from nowadays standards, but it still feels quite right in the hand. Whereas the HTC One max just has 6.48 inches long and 3.25" wide, it is able to fit a a 5.9 inches display. HTC didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 7.65 ounces cellphone. Talking about its aspect, this device is majorly created with Aluminium, giving it a premium look and better resistance.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 4 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2.1 mega-pixels front camera. Its back-facing camera lens has a 2 aperture so it can capture impressive photos even in low lighting environments. It also shoots videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps, and slow motion videos in (HD) (1280x720) up to 60 frames per second. The camera also has some interesting features like flash, auto-focus, digital image stabilization, geo tagging and HDR mode.

HTC equipped this device with a great 5.9-inches screen, and a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, which makes it impossible to even see the pixels composing the screen. Its screen uses S-LCD 3 capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone uses a great 3300 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it at all. According to HTC, this phone has a reported 28 hs talk time and a 393 hours stand by time. An issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to have trouble holding its charge, whereas with so much capacity you will probably replace this cellphone before that happens.

The HTC One max features Wi-Fi connection (which it can share with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high performance connection type and also HSPA+ connection type, that is a slower 4G type or fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers and it can use both GSM and CDMA networks.

This cellphone also includes many interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), Fingerprint Identification, GPS Localization, Infrared Blaster and NFC (Near Field Communication), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The HTC One max is a great choice considering it's an incredible phone and it costs just 275 dollars. The HTC One max is probably the right one for you no matter if you want a social cellphone, love photography, will use it for gaming or want it for work.
