HTC Desire is a not so powerful cellphone released some years ago, in 2010, packed with a 1 gigahertz CPU, a 3.7-inches multi-touch display and a 5 MP back facing camera. We will get a better understanding of this phone's advantages when we get into more details.

This cellphone doesn't feel very lightweight for a cellphone this size, weighting 4.76 oz.

HTC packed this cellphone with a very good 3.7" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , making everything look beautiful. Its screen uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

HTC decided to build this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 chip, including a powerful 1000 megahertz processor with 576 MB of RAM. Graphic intensive tasks usually consume a lot of processing time, so it also uses an Adreno 200 GPU ticking at 128 MHz to unload the CPU.

This phone features wifi capability (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a router) or the fastest 3G connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

The HTC Desire has only a 5 mega-pixels back camera. In addition, the camera counts with flash.

The HTC Desire comes with a medium capacity 1400 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides the HTC Desire a very long battery life. HTC reports a talk time of 6.7 hs and a stand by time of 340 hours for this phone.

The HTC Desire also comes with many interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR), FM Radio, GPS (Global Positioning System) and NFC (Near Field Communication), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

HTC sells this phone for 129 dollars, which is a quite high price for this type of phone.
