The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is better than HTC One max, having a overall score of 8.77 against 7.9. Both of these devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the newer 5.0 version while HTC One max has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides some extra features and a performance increase. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 construction is newer, somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than HTC One max.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has just a bit better screen than HTC One max, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel quantity in each inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a little bit more memory to store more apps and games than HTC One max, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 128 GB.

The HTC One max has superior battery performance than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 2 percent more battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also cheaper than the other phone, making this phone a simple decision.
