Samsung Galaxy Note II has a score of 7.6, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto X Play's 7.53 score. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note II has the older 4.4.2 version while Motorola Moto X Play has Android 5.1. Samsung Galaxy Note II is a much older and just a bit heavier device than the Motorola Moto X Play, but Samsung made it somewhat thinner anyway.

Samsung Galaxy Note II has a much better hardware performance than Moto X Play, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note II also has an extra GPU and a higher number of cores. The Moto X Play has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have a same size display, the Moto X Play also has much more pixels per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The Moto X Play has a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note II, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Moto X Play captures much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto X Play also has a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.

The Moto X Play counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note II, because it has a 17% bigger battery size.

The Galaxy Note II is not only the best devices in this comparisson, but it's also the cheapest.
