LG Volt is a mid-end phone, packing a fast 1.2 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, a medium 4.7-inches multi touch display, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera.
The LG Volt only has 5.18″ long and 2.6″ wide, but it is still able to fit a a 4.7 inches display. This device is very slim and practical, though it’s not so slim as many other cellphones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.41″. LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.8 ounces cellphone.
LG decided to design this phone using a fast 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 system chip with 1 GB RAM. Graphic calculations generally consume lots of CPU processing time, so it counts with an extra Adreno 305 graphic processing unit working at 450 megahertz to help handle those graphic tasks. An interesting feature of the LG Volt is its big 8 GB internal storage and an SD memory slot, which allows you to store a couple hundred games and applications without running out of space.
This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. This cellphone also films Full HD 1920×1080 videos at 30 frames per second. This camera also counts with a few nice features like auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting, HDR mode and geo tagging.
LG designed this device with a nice 4.7 inches screen, and a resolution of 960 x 540 , which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels that compose the screen. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
The LG Volt features a 3000 mAh great Li-Ion battery, enough to provide this phone with an impressive battery duration.
The LG Volt doesn’t have a SIM card, because it isn’t a GSM enabled phone and it works in CDMA networks.
This cellphone also comes with many interesting features like Bluetooth, GPS (Global Positioning System), Infrared Transmitter, NFC (Near Field Communication) and Radio, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
