Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 Review & Specs

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a not so powerful Android tablet, featuring a 8 inches touch-screen, a good performance Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1.2 gigahertz, and two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front facing camera. Let’s take a closer sight of what this device has to offer.

This tablet comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 8212 system chip, holding a fast Quad-Core processor speeding at 1.2 gigahertz and 1 GB of RAM. Graphic intensive tasks usually uses lots of processor time, so it also has an additional 400 MHz Adreno 302 GPU to help the processor with those tasks. This tablet comes with aquite big 8 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an external memory card, which allows the user to install a couple hundred games and apps without any problem.

Regarding its design, this tablet is majorly made of Aluminium, which gives it a high quality feel and improved resistance. Huawei only offers this tablet in white color. This device has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.31 inches. Even though this tablet is only 8.29″ long and 5.03 inches wide, it still manages to hold a 8 inches screen. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 isn’t very light comparing to other devices , weighting 12.7 oz.

This tablet has a good 8″ screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution, which makes everything look good. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This device features two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. It can also capture videos in HD 1280×720 at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera includes geo tagging.

This tablet packs a great 4800 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it at all.

This tablet offers wi-fi capability (which can be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks or 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This tablet uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also features some interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS (Global Positioning System) and Near Field Communication (NFC), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
