HTC Sensation is a decent Android phone launched many years ago, packing a good 1.2 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit, a medium 4.3-inches multi touch display, and 2 cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera.
The HTC Sensation is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8260 chip, backed up by a quite powerful Dual-Core processor ticking at 1200 MHz and 768 MB of RAM.
This time, it seems like HTC forgot about weight optimization in this 5.22 ounces phone. This cellphone’s thickness of 0.44 inches is a little far from current standards, but it still feels fine in the user’s hand. The HTC Sensation is only 4.96″ long, but it still manages to hold a 4.3 inches screen.
The HTC Sensation includes a very good 960 x 540 4.3-inches display, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels in the display. This display uses S-LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The HTC Sensation has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It also shoots videos in Full HD 1920×1080 at 30 frames per second. This camera also counts with some useful characteristics like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.
This cellphone features wi-fi connectivity (but it can’t share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) or 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
This device comes with a medium 1520 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for several hours, although you may find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it too much. HTC informs a stand by time of 350 hours and a talk time of 8.3 hs for this phone.
The HTC Sensation also comes with many interesting features like Bluetooth, FM Radio, GPS Localization and NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
