HTC One E9 Review & Specs

HTC One E9 is a mid-end phone, packing a 5.5″ multi-touch screen, an extremely powerful 2 GHz Octa-Core 64-bits processing unit, and 2 cameras, a 20 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 4 megapixels front side camera. Is that all? Not at all, it’s just the beginning of this in-depth review.

This device ships with an extremely fast 2 GHz Octa-Core processor, packed into a MediaTek MT6795 chip and a large 3 GB RAM. This cellphone comes with a huge 32 GB internal storage memory and while it doesn’t have a slot for external memory cards, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games currently available without thinking about running out of space.

HTC made this cellphoneavailable only in two different color options, gray and gold. Even though this device is only 0″ long and 0 inches wide, it manages to pack a 5.5 inches screen.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 20 MP back-facing camera and a 4 mega-pixels front camera. This phone also includes a few interesting features: flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

HTC packed this cellphone with a high-tech 5.5-inches display, and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD / 2K), which makes it impossible to even see the pixels composing the display.

This phone counts with a 3000 mAh huge non-replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a consuming device like this. A key issue to evaluate is that this device’s battery is not replaceable so you won’t be able to replace it when it starts losing capacity, having to buy a new phone to “solve it”.

The HTC One E9 provides Wi-Fi connection (but it can’t be shared with other devices acting as a router), 4G LTE fast internet connection or fast 3G data connection, supported by HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This cellphone doesn’t have a sim card, because it isn’t a GSM cellphone.

This cellphone also features some interesting features like Bluetooth, GPS Navigation and NFC, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

If you are looking for a social phone or are looking for a phone to play lots of games, you will definitely be very pleased with it.
