On the Hamilton Beach 49467, the “Prog” button doubles as the “Auto” button. You press it once after programming and the light will also turn green.

Both coffee makers are very easy to clean. The exterior on both models can be easily cleaned by wiping them down. As for the brew baskets and the carafes, they are dishwasher safe, so no manual washing necessary. The hot plates are non-stick and they are residue resistant, so cleaning them is easy as well.
