Setup
Setting up the Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners is easy.

Since the two scanners have similar features and control schemes, they also have the same setup process. When you power them for the first time, their screens will guide you on how to set them up. First, you’ll be prompted to choose your language and then you’ll be greeted by a screen with a link to their warranty details.
After that, you’ll have the option to choose which startup mode you want. Don’t worry too much about this since you can always change it later on through the settings menu. Once you’ve chosen the startup mode, you’ll be prompted to choose which devices can have access to the scanner. You can pick between your PC and mobile device, or both.
Once you’ve done all of that, you’ll be instructed to download and install the ScanSnap software. After downloading and installing the software, you have the option of connecting the scanner to your PC via its USB port or via WiFi.
