Product Catalog and Pricing

Sonicare has a larger catalog of electric toothbrushes, although Fairywill’s series of brushes are more affordable across the board.

Fairywill vs Sonicare Product Catalog and Pricing
Fairywill embraces its budget-friendly status while Sonicare relies on its brand presence.

Both Fairywill and Sonicare can lay claim to some of the best electric toothbrushes. Fairywill, for instance, has four lineups made of the Pro Series, Daily Series, Travel Series, and Kids Series. These labels typically refer to where the brushes are best suited, i.e. Pro for professional cleaning or Travel for travel-friendly models. But it can get confusing, too, since Fairywill’s brushes can also belong to two different lineups.

Sonicare is more straightforward when it comes to their catalog โ€” and they should be. After all, the company has over 90 models to choose from across 15 categories. Some of the more popular Sonicare electric toothbrushes include those from the DiamondClean Smart, ProtectiveClean, and FlexCare.

With years of experience behind it, Sonicare’s brushes are more expensive across the board than Fairywill’s. This is especially true for its top-of-the-line electric toothbrushes. Some of the premium models can cost anywhere between $250 to $350.

Fairywill’s products, on the other hand, range anywhere from $19 to $80. Its top-of-the-line Pro Series brushes can even be as affordable as $40. That’s already as much as you’ll spend on some entry-level and mid-range models from Sonicare.

Best Premium Fairywill and Sonicare Toothbrush

If money is not an object, the Fairywill P11 and Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 are the best top-of-the-line brushes you can get from both brands.

If price tags are the last thing you consider when buying something, then it’s worth looking into the premium brushes from Fairywill and Sonicare. With its sophisticated design and rugged construction, the Fairywill P11, however, is a cut above the rest of the budget brand’s lineup. The ultrasonic toothbrush uses 3rd generation motors to deliver as much as 62,000 brush movements each cycle. It comes with a timer and pacer as well.

Fairywill claims the P11 can remove 10x more stains compared to manual brushing. The pro-grade brush also boasts an IPX7 waterproof rating, along with a ring lighting system and easy slide-on brushes. Interestingly, a lot of these features are what you’ll find in the Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300, too. The premium brush from Sonicare delivers 62,000 brush movements per minute, too.

Where the Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9300 has an edge over the Fairywill P11 is versatility. Sonicare’s electric toothbrush is equipped with four cleaning modes and three intensities. It’s even marketed as an intelligent device, with smart sensors that track your mouth coverage as you brush.

Those on a budget can look into the Fairywill D7 and Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100.

Although Fairywill is largely known for its affordable electric toothbrushes, the company’s Fairywill 507 gives you the most value-for-money. In fact, the 507 is the company’s best-seller. At just under $30, the Fairywill 507 boasts five cleaning modes and an impressive 40,000 brush movements per minute. The budget device comes in an extra lightweight design, too, with a chic black finish to boot.

In a sea of expensive models, the Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 stands out. But it’s not just because it’s fairly affordable. The white-and-mint variant of the 4100 is a capable brush with 62,000 brush movements per minute. In addition, the Sonicare brush is equipped with a pressure sensor integrated into its slim and ergonomic design.

The Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100, however, only comes with one cleaning mode. If you’re someone who wants different brushing options, you’ll fare better with the Fairywill 507. Nonetheless, both brushes come with your standard timer and pacer. Sonicare’s 4100 delivers about 2 weeks of battery life. Meanwhile, the Fairywill 507 boasts an impressive 30-day battery life on a single charge.

Best Fairywill and Sonicare Toothbrush For Travel

For people on the go, the Fairywill P80 and Sonicare Essence 5600 are great options.

If you’re traveling around the world, it’s hard to make do with your hotel or Airbnb’s disposable toothbrush. Their flimsy build and soft bristles aren’t the best for oral healthcare. Fortunately, the Fairywill P80 is a feature-packed brush made for people on the go. The P80 delivers up to 40,000 brush strokes per minute. It can also be reduced to 32,000 for those with sensitive teeth. The P80 comes with an LED pressure sensor and eight replacement brush heads as well.

The Sonicare Essence 5600, on the other hand, banks on being a no-nonsense alternative. Unlike its pricier siblings, the 5600 only comes with one cleaning mode. But it still delivers the goods, with a built-in timer and an impressive 32,000 brush strokes per minute. The contoured brushed head of the 5600 makes it easy to reach behind and between teeth as well.

As expected, both the Fairywill P80 and Sonicare Essence 5600 come with their own travel case. The P80’s hard case fits the brush and two brush heads. Sonicare’s 5600, on the other hand, makes use of a travel pouch.

Go for the Fairywill P80 if you want a feature-packed electric toothbrush; choose the Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 if you just need the basics.

Choosing among Fairywill brushes can be confusing. There are several models you can look at, sometimes even belonging to two different lineups. However, we think you’ll get the most bang for the buck with the Fairywill P80. It’s a travel-friendly brush with plenty of advanced features. It’s also one of the few Fairywill brushes that allow you to change the intensity of brush movements.

Sonicare is moving into smart device territory with its mobile app-compatible brushes. But we think the Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 still offers the most value. While it doesn’t have multiple cleaning modes or brush head sensors, you do get the basics. The 4100 is equipped with a pressure sensor, timer, pacer, and even brush replacement reminder. For those who can live without connecting their brushes to an app, this is a reliable electric toothbrush to get.
