When it comes to their attachments, the Dyson boasts a magnetic mechanism that makes it easy to attach and detach them. Meanwhile, the Harry Josh Pro’s attachments are challenging to detach from the dryer itself. In February 2020, Dyson released two new nozzles for the Supersonic hair dryer that can be bought separately:
- Wide Tooth Comb: for curly and textured hair; its teeth helps create volume
- Gentler Air: works great for users with finer hair; releases cooler air flow through diffusing air

Meanwhile, the Harry Josh Pro Tools Pro Dryer 2000 comes with two attachments:
- Narrow nozzle concentrator: for drying small sections of hair
- Wide nozzle concentrator: for drying large sections of hair
Users with curly or wavy hair will need to buy a separate diffuser for the Harry Josh Pro Dryer 2000 as it is not included in the purchase, unlike with the Dyson hair dryer.

Verdict
The
While the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer has a higher price tag than the Harry Josh Pro Dryer 2000, the former’s top-notch innovative technology and features make it a better purchase. You’ll get your money’s worth with the Dyson hair dryer as it’s gentle to the hair and its regulated heat helps avoid extreme heat damage without compromising shiny, frizz-free results. With this blowdryer, you won’t need expensive hair serums or treatments for heat-damaged hair.
If the Harry Josh were a little more affordable, perhaps our favor would have tipped for the hair stylist’s dryer. However, a more cost-effective alternative is the Velecta Paramount TGR4000i hair dryer. The Velecta Paramount offers the same features as the Harry Josh does at a much lower price point (at the time of writing, it’s cheaper by more than a hundred dollars).
