Their Headphones 700 feature 11 levels of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), allowing you to adjust the settings depending on your needs. The highest ANC settings can easily block off the hum of an airplane’s engine when you’re flying as well as most conversations around you. Meanwhile, the lowest setting will let you clearly hear your surroundings so well that “you’ll be surprised you’re wearing headphones at all,” Bose claims.
Each wireless earpiece of the AirPods Pro is equipped with outward and inward-facing microphones that detect the sound around you. Apple’s Adaptive EQ technology then adjusts the noise cancellation depending on what they detect to deliver a more immersive listening experience.
Apple’s AirPods Pro are equipped with a high dynamic range amplifier and their custom-built H1 Chip that uses 10 audio cores to provide low audio processing latency. In addition, the AirPods Pro have better sound quality in low and middle frequencies compared to their predecessors.
