The Bose 151 SE measures 12.5 inches high, 4.5 inches wide and 6 inches deep. Its woofers are made of glass-filled polypropylene and its connectors are the post-type. It weighs 11.65 pounds and wall-mountable horizontally or vertically.

The Bose 251 is slightly larger at 13.5 inches high, 5.8 inches wide and 8 inches deep. Also, it has polymer fiber composite woofers along with 5-way binding post connectors. It’s lighter at 8 pounds but it only allows vertical wall-mounting.

Both the 151 and 251 come in either white or black.

It’s not recommended for the Bose 151 SE or Bose 251 to be fully submerged, however. Bose even advises avoiding applying enough pressure to force water into the driver or acoustic port as well as behind the grille.
