Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a mid-level Android device launched a few years ago, packed with a 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor, a quite big 7" multi-touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) feels a bit heavy for a tablet this size, weighting 10.55 oz. This tablet is just 0.34" thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet's category. Whereas this tablet just has 7.87" long, it still manages to contain a 7" display.
Google packed this tablet with a spectacular 7" screen, and a 1200 x 1920 resolution, which makes everything look vivid and colorful. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a brightness of 300 candela/m2 and is multi-touch enabled.
This tablet is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip, holding a great performance Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1.5 gigahertz with a great 2 GB RAM. Graphic calculations often eats a lot of processor cycles, so it also counts with an Adreno 320 GPU working at 400 MHz to help handle those graphic tasks. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a impressive 32 GB internal storage memory and although it doesn't have a slot for an SD memory card, it it is more than enough to install hundreds of applications without worrying about filling the tablet.
This tablet features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front facing camera. It also captures 1920x1080 Full HD videos. To complete the camera, it also features auto-focus.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a 3950 mAh high capacity Li-Polymer removable battery that can keep this tablet running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it at all.
This tablet counts with wifi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a router), 4G LTE fast connection type or fast 3G internet connection, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a Micro SIM card for GSM services.
This tablet also features some interesting features like Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Localization and NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your tablet close to another NFC device or tag), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
Google offers the Google Nexus 7 (2013) for only 225 dollars, which is a real bargain for a great device like this. No matter whether you will use this device to play tons of games, will use this device for work or are looking for a social tablet, this tablet is probably the correct option for you.
